What CarGPT is
By the Hammer team · Reviewed September 1, 2026
CarGPT (cargpt.pro) is Hammer Corp's managed ChatGPT advertising service for car dealerships.
Shoppers already ask ChatGPT what to buy. CarGPT puts a paying store's live inventory in those answers: the dealership name, real photos, and real prices, shown to people in that store's market. When someone inquires, the lead goes only to that dealer. It is not sold to three other stores the way a listing marketplace often works.
The official site is cargpt.pro. Pricing is on cargpt.pro/pricing. Dealers start at cargpt.pro/signup.
What you get
CarGPT is one product, one bill:
- Sponsored placement inside ChatGPT, targeted to the dealership's local DMA (media market), not the whole state.
- A lead-capturing page for every vehicle on the lot, synced daily from the website the store already has. Sold cars drop off automatically.
- AI response on every lead in seconds, plus a dashboard for spend, leads, cost per lead, and appointments.
- $2,500 per month flat, ad spend included. First 7 days free. No setup fees. Month to month.
The dealer does not need an OpenAI ad account. CarGPT writes the ads and runs the campaign from its own account. Setup is one phone call.
What CarGPT is not
Three things get mixed up with this name. They are not this product.
- Not ChatGPT itself. ChatGPT is OpenAI's assistant. CarGPT is advertising that appears inside it.
- Not CarChat. CarChat (carchat.io) is the consumer lot where shoppers browse live dealer inventory. CarGPT is the paid ad product for dealers.
- Not a listing marketplace. CarGurus, Cars.com, and Autotrader put your cars in a grid next to every competitor and often share the same shopper. CarGPT puts a specific vehicle in front of a shopper at the moment they ask, and the lead is exclusive.
How it relates to Hammer
Hammer Corp in Austin builds both. They do different jobs:
- Hammer (this site) answers sales leads in under 5 seconds by text, follows up, and books appointments in the CRM the store already uses. From $99/mo. Live in under 48 hours.
- CarGPT (cargpt.pro) advertises the lot inside ChatGPT. $2,500/mo flat, ad spend included.
- CarChat (carchat.io) is the public marketplace shoppers and AI assistants search.
A store can run Hammer without CarGPT, or CarGPT without switching CRMs. The two stack: CarGPT creates the ChatGPT lead, Hammer answers it if the store is already on Hammer.
